On May 19, according to Digitimes, in recent years, the IC design industry in mainland China has remained active, and the number of related companies has continued to rise.Statistics from ICCAD show that the number of IC design companies in mainland China in 2021 reached 2810, an increase of 26.7%from 2,218 in 2020.It is worth noting that in 2019, only 1,780 local IC design companies, which shows a substantial increase in the past two years.

In 2021, a total of seven Mainland IC design companies listed on the science and technology board, raising a total of 12.1 billion yuan.As of December 1, 2021, the total market value of these companies was 223 billion yuan.At present, a total of 42 IC design companies are listed in the motherboards, small and medium -sized boards, GEM and science and technology boards. These companies have raised nearly 44.7 billion yuan, with a cumulative market value of 1.8 trillion yuan.
